2. Information We Collect
-
P1
Client-Side Room Brief Tool
When you enter room measurements or notes into the Brief Builder on our Contact page, all text formatting, clipboard copying, and `.txt` file generation happen locally inside your browser. Nothing you type into that tool is transmitted to our servers unless you voluntarily send it to us via email.
-
P2
Direct Email Correspondence
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, name, and any room information you choose to include so we can reply to your enquiry. We retain email correspondence for up to 12 months before routine deletion.
-
P3
Standard Web Server Logs
Like all static websites, our hosting infrastructure temporarily records truncated IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and requested page URLs for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate reliability monitoring. Logs are automatically purged within 14 days.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we process routine server security logs under our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)), and we process direct email enquiries based on your consent and request for a reply (Article 6(1)(a) and (b)).
4. Third-Party Sharing & International Transfers
We never sell, rent, or trade visitor data. We do not load third-party behavioural advertising pixels, social media tracking widgets, or cross-site profiling scripts on scoopwatflicknestl.living.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of any personal information you have sent us via email, as well as the right to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Lead at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
